6 Sets for Soccer Success

In this video, we go through 6 movement sets that are designed to give you lots of repetition in a small space. These quick, stop and go movements are sure to help you in tight spaces.

Set 1: Pull – Pinky – Inside

  • Step 1: Stop the ball with the bottom of your foot.
  • Step 2: Hop backward and pull the ball
  • Step 3: Take away with the pinky toe
  • Step 4: Shuffle in the same direction as the ball
  • Step 5: Take a forward touch with the inside of the foot 
  • Step 6/Step 1: Stop the ball with the bottom of your other foot and repeat.

Set 2: Inside – Pull – Inside

  • Step 1: Hit the ball forward with the inside of your right foot and hop forward to stop it with the sole of your right foot.
  • Step 2: Hop backward while pulling the ball, then hit the ball with the inside of your right foot.
  • Step 3: Switch feet and repeat with your left foot.

Set 3: Pull – Pinky – Inside – Pinky – Inside

  • Step 1: Stop the ball with the bottom of your foot.
  • Step 2: Hop backward and pull the ball
  • Step 3: Push away with the pinky toe
  • Step 4: Hop with the ball, and receive with the inside of the same foot
  • Step 5: Push away with the pinky toe
  • Step 6: Shuffle in the same direction as the ball
  • Step 7: Take a forward touch with the inside of the foot

Set 4: Pull – Pinky – Inside – Roll

  • Step 1: Stop the ball with the sole of your left foot. Hop back while pulling the ball. Then hit the ball with your left pinky toe.
  • Step 2: Without the left foot touching the ground, stop the ball with the inside of your left foot. Then put your left foot on the ground and roll the ball with your right foot.
  • Step 3: Un-cross your legs, then touch the ball forward with the inside of your left foot. Step forward with and stop the ball with the sole of your Right foot, and repeat going the other direction.

Set 5: Pull – Pinky – L Turn – Pull V 



Set 6: Figure 8’s
